River Crossing bridge

In July 2022, LoC Foundation UK, donated 20 lac rupees to help build a bridge over a river in Kenthi, Jandrote of LoC Nakyal.

This area had been divided and villages were disconnected from each other, especially every time the heavy rains began. This was a desperate demand from the local villagers. Many governments came and went and the struggle for these villagers was real. With the help of our donors and local communities providing labour, we have managed to build this bridge across the river and connected the communities together, bringing smiles and happiness to everyone involved.

Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact on the local community.

The local communities heard about LoC Foundation and reached out to us to help them realise their dream.
